This game is not designed to run on your device. Add it to a collection to play later, or you can try to run it anyway.

It's hard to separate sometimes. It's not you, it's me, is a short-story platformer about the separation of a couple. It can be beaten in under a minute(not including cutscenes) and was a blast to make!

This game was made in 9 days for  Gdevelop GameJam #3, with the theme Separation. You play as Unamed Character and use your heart to traverse the levels. I really wanted to make more  for this one, I feel like what little narrative there is was rushed a bit. I'm still extremely proud of it though. This game is my fourth, and, marks 6 months of game dev progress and Gdevelop usage. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Notes

It's not stated, but, when you're a little red heart, you can move with WASD.

Jumping while on the corner of the ground may cause you to use your double jump, there may also be some minor issues with the audio.

WOW! I was looking at old game jam games and this is waaay better than the one that won. The story, the game feel, the twist... prefection. but seriously that twist was crazy.

This is so beautiful. Almost cried at the end. Great story with great gameplay in such a short time. The art is mesmerising. I wish you all the best on your gamedevelopment journey, keep up the amazing work!!! <3 <3 <3

It looks lovely, very nice atmosphere. I can't play it because it uses wasd controls instead of arrows and it's always a frustrating experience trying to use my mouse hand for keyboard controls when gaming, after a life of using my right hand for them. I can tell you did some nice work though.

Thank you. That's a huge mistake on my part, and something I didn't even think of while working on it. I'll update the controls after the jam ends. Sorry!
